Need Help With an Existing Flight Reservation?

If you found a travel provider through LowFareMatch.com and have already completed your flight purchase, your reservation is managed by the airline, online travel agency, or other travel provider with whom you completed the booking.

LowFareMatch is a flight search and travel-provider comparison platform. We help travelers discover participating providers and then direct them to the provider they choose.

For third-party offers, LowFareMatch does not process the reservation, collect your booking payment, or issue your airline ticket.

This means that after you complete a purchase with a provider, that provider becomes your primary point of contact for your reservation.

Step 1: Identify Your Booking Provider

The first thing you need to determine is where you actually completed your booking.

After selecting View, Continue, View Deal, or a similar option on LowFareMatch, you were redirected to another travel provider's website.

That is normally the company responsible for your reservation.

Check Your Confirmation Email

Search your email inbox for terms such as:

Booking Confirmation • Flight Confirmation • E-ticket • Itinerary • Reservation Confirmation

The email should normally identify the company with whom you booked.

Also check your spam, promotions, and junk folders.

Check Your Payment Statement

If you paid for the reservation, check the transaction description on your credit card, debit card, bank, or other payment statement.

The merchant shown on your statement may help you identify the company that processed your booking.

Check Your E-Ticket or Itinerary

If you received an itinerary or electronic ticket, it may contain:

  • Airline name
  • Booking provider
  • Airline confirmation number
  • Booking reference or PNR
  • Ticket number
  • Flight details
  • Provider contact information

Keep this information available when contacting your provider or airline.

Who Should I Contact?

Once you identify the company with whom you booked, contact that provider directly for assistance with your reservation.

Your booking provider or airline should generally be your first point of contact for:

Ticket issuance
Booking confirmation
Flight changes
Date changes
Passenger-name questions
Cancellations
Refunds
Travel credits
Schedule changes
Seat assignments
Baggage
Special assistance
Check-in
Payment questions

The provider's own terms, airline fare rules, and applicable policies will determine what options are available.

I Haven't Received My Ticket

If you completed payment but have not received a ticket or booking confirmation, first:

  1. Check your email inbox and spam/junk folders.
  2. Check whether the provider sent a separate payment or reservation confirmation.
  3. Check your payment statement to identify the merchant.
  4. Contact the provider where you completed the transaction.

If payment has been taken, do not make another reservation solely because you have not immediately received an email confirmation without first checking the status of the original transaction. Otherwise, you could unintentionally create duplicate bookings.

LowFareMatch cannot issue a ticket for a reservation purchased from an independent third-party provider.

I Need to Change My Flight

Changes to an existing reservation must generally be requested from your booking provider or airline.

Depending on your ticket and fare conditions, changes may involve:

  • Fare differences
  • Airline change fees
  • Provider service fees
  • Availability restrictions
  • Fare-rule restrictions

LowFareMatch does not determine these conditions and cannot modify a reservation held by an independent provider.

I Want to Cancel My Flight

Contact the provider with whom you completed your booking.

Whether your ticket can be canceled and whether you are eligible for a refund or travel credit depends on the applicable airline rules, fare conditions, provider terms, circumstances of the cancellation, and applicable law.

LowFareMatch cannot cancel a reservation made with an independent third-party provider.

I Need a Refund

Refund requests should generally be submitted to the company responsible for your booking or payment.

The provider can determine whether your reservation qualifies for:

A cash refund • Partial refund • Airline credit • Travel credit • Rebooking • No refund

according to the applicable fare and booking conditions.

LowFareMatch cannot issue or authorize a refund for funds collected by an independent third-party provider.

My Flight Was Changed or Canceled by the Airline

Airlines occasionally change flight times, routes, aircraft, or schedules, or cancel flights altogether.

If this happens, check communications from your airline and booking provider.

Contact the airline or provider responsible for your reservation to understand the alternatives available to you, which may include rebooking, schedule-change options, credits, or refunds depending on the circumstances and applicable rules.

LowFareMatch does not control airline schedules or flight operations.

Baggage Questions

Baggage allowances and charges vary depending on:

Airline • Route • Cabin • Fare type • Frequent-flyer status • Destination

Check your ticket or booking confirmation and verify your baggage allowance directly with the operating airline before traveling.

LowFareMatch cannot add baggage to a third-party reservation.

Seat Selection

Seat selection should generally be managed through your booking provider or the operating airline.

Some fares include complimentary seat selection, while others may require payment or may only allow seat assignment during check-in.

LowFareMatch cannot select or modify seats on reservations held by independent providers.

Check-In

Flight check-in is generally completed directly with the airline operating your flight.

Depending on the airline, you may be able to check in through:

The airline's official website • Airline mobile application • Airport kiosk • Airline check-in counter

You may need your airline confirmation number, booking reference, or ticket number.

I Don't Know Who I Booked With

If you cannot identify your booking provider, check:

1. Your confirmation email
Look for the sender and company name.

2. Your payment statement
Look at the merchant description associated with the charge.

3. Your browser history
The website visited immediately after LowFareMatch may identify the provider.

4. Your e-ticket or itinerary
Look for the issuing provider and booking reference.

If you still cannot identify the provider, you can contact:

support@lowfarematch.com

Please provide information relating to your LowFareMatch search, such as:

  • Approximate date and time of your search
  • Departure city or airport
  • Destination
  • Travel dates
  • Provider name, if partially remembered
  • Screenshot of the LowFareMatch comparison page, if available

Where sufficient information is available, we may be able to help identify the provider you selected from LowFareMatch.

We cannot guarantee that we can locate or access your third-party reservation.

What LowFareMatch Cannot Do

For reservations made with independent third-party providers, LowFareMatch generally cannot:

  • Access your provider's reservation system
  • Issue an airline ticket
  • Reissue a ticket
  • Modify your itinerary
  • Change travel dates
  • Change passenger information
  • Select seats
  • Add baggage
  • Check you in

  • Approve a refund
  • Process a provider's refund
  • Change airline schedules
  • Provide boarding passes

These services must generally be handled by the airline or travel provider responsible for your booking.

Complaints About a Travel Provider

Travel providers appearing through LowFareMatch are independent businesses responsible for their own booking processes, pricing, customer service, and contractual obligations.

If your complaint concerns a booking you completed with a provider, you should normally contact that provider first.

If your complaint also concerns how the provider or its information appeared on LowFareMatch, you can contact:

complaints@lowfarematch.com

Please clearly explain which part of your concern relates to the LowFareMatch comparison experience.

Protect Your Information

Please do not email LowFareMatch:

  • Your complete credit or debit card number
  • CVV/security code
  • Online banking password
  • Account passwords
  • One-time passwords (OTPs)
  • Other sensitive payment credentials

LowFareMatch does not need these details to help identify a provider you selected through our comparison service.

Important Reminder LowFareMatch helped you compare. Your selected provider handled your booking.

The easiest way to determine who should assist you is to ask:

“Which company accepted my reservation and payment?”

That company will generally be responsible for your booking and post-booking assistance.
